I'm planning to write a multichaptered fic and I want to put in fight scenes but. . .
XD how could that work for this game? I don't want to put, "so and so sent out Fomoire, etc" each time.
Does anyone have ideas on how I could incorporate the folk in a fight scene and not sound cheesy or overwhelming?

In the case of Ellen fighting, you could simply 'summon' the creatures and have her interact with them like shout a command to them as she does something else.
With Keats, his folks appear as an extension of his own being. So I guess you'd treat those attacks like normal melee combat.
Then again, I'm just rambling^^

I've actually considered that. I don't plan to have Ellen fight in my story though XD I would say more but that would be a fic spoiler.
I guess I won't know until I try. Thanks for your input. :3

I don't know if your'e still writing this fic, but you could consider treating the folk as whole beings that Keats and Ellen summon. As in, instead of each folk being an attack, they actually get summoned and run around, attacking and defending. Think of them as the folk you fight in the game, if you will. You could have Ellen riding an Ogma against a horde of Barragers, for example- raging a war alongside Keats to finally quell the Warcadia conflict. Expand on the idea a bit and you'll get something
