The thing that shouldn't be missing in any fandom... What if they made a real movie!?The question of course is... If you can have anyone you want and have the biggest budget you want...Who would be the cast? I haven't thought about most of the chars yet... but after seeing this picture ( it IS Keats but where the hell does it come from anyway!??! I found myself drawn to the thought... Even though I don't like him... Johnny Depp would be the perfect man to play Keats (only because he looks so much like him DANG!) And even the char's he plays sometimes resemble Keats.... Remember Sleepy Hollow... a skeptic, investigating the murders in a small town with big secrets... The Ninth Gate... yet another skeptic bookworm who was taught to believe and Secret Window that guy was a writer...

HAha I love Johnny he has soooo much talent as a character actor and I think he would make a good Keats. ^_^

Whoa! XD I never thought of Johnny Depp playing Keats. He looks exactly like him.
More than looking like the character I trust Depp could pull it off. He's very talented.
*tries to look for celebrities that could play other characters*

I disagree. he may look like Keats but he's far too old for the part. Keats is in his twenties, Johnny Depp is in his forties. Quite a huge difference.

I don't think age is a factor in this. You don't have to be the exact age as a character to play them. Think about it, in The Hours Nicole Kidman played a woman who looked to be in her fifties and in a lot of teen or shows with a mid twenties cast the actors are usually older than their characters.
If we're talking looks wise especially, make up work is all it takes.
However, I will whole heartedly agree that a ten year old cannot play Keats lol XD

No, he doesn't look like Keats. Keats has a thinner face and a thinner, longer nose with more a "point" to it. His mouth is very similar, and the eyes are similar. But they don't look completely alike.
I don't mean to be picky with it or anything, just voicing an opinion here, but Johnny is probably best suited for the role because of his talent.
Folklore would make a great movie, especially for being a video game. :3

Yay for random guest posting.
Why would they choose real actors when they could simply CGI-animate the whole thing? The in-game videos were movie-quality. By computer animation, they would save money and retain the look and feel of the game and characters. Just a thought. Why take away a perfectly good character's integrity by making Depp play him?

Guys, remove the glasses, hairstyle, and stubble/mustache. They look nothing alike if you ask me. But in a movie it could most likely be easily pulled off anyway.
