I just beat the game lately and I'm totally mad (in a good way) for that game. The story is so amazing and the characters so well done that I had to join that forum to meet other fans
Well, for my part, I'm Alphares. I'm a gamer and an artist. The main reason why I am here is learning more about the Folklore-Universe. Why you ask? simple... Since the creators of Folklore (or Folks Soul) don't want to come up with a second part (sequel) I might draw fan-comic to give other fans still some ideas or dreams.
I'd be glad if you could help since it's you, fans, that are the reason why I want to make that comic.

Just noticed... I guess welcoming you isn't one of my duties since I'm rather "new" too... still, welcome About the comic....I'd need a freaking cover to at least upload the first pages....-_____-0000

If there's one thing I learned in my design class, is that sometimes the simplest covers can be the best. Look at the cover for Watchmen, or even (ugh) Twilight...While they didn't have a great deal of detail, they stand out very well.
What I'm trying to say is, don't feel pressured into having this great detail of a cover for your pages. Even something like one of the realm glyphs or even the Henge would probably look just as nice. =)

My problem is to find a fitting image that resembles the story a little. I'm going to draw a "sequel" based on the game so.
Thanks for the tips though ^^ Maybe I'll doodle something for now so I can at least upload it.

Just do what feels right for it, then.
Though do you have a site where you'll upload them, or will they just be posted here? I mean, I'll probably be checking here too...
Man, I seem like a puppy waiting for her food dish. XD

I guess I'll publish it on some spots around the net.
Since I'm a part webdesigner the whole comic will get a site on its own (since it is going to be a Folklore fansite too). Except of that I will pick some online platforms to upload it (maybe DA, maybe some comicpages...depends on my mood)
But giving the comic its own webspace makes it easier for me to also present some facts about the game itself and some sketches and other fanstuff I doodle (same as my art).
About the cover-thing, I finally have a solution! My girl, a hardcore fan too, helps a lot with costumes and storyline of the comic and she just gave me the final kick. All it needs now is some finished pages and the webdesign ^^
