We have members yet we're not interacting with each other that much.
Any suggestions for making everyone come together/ get new members? My goal for making this forum is to have a great tight knit community.
I'm considering to add an RP section. Also thinking of putting up a contest but I don't know how many people would participate.

I think adding RP would be a great idea. I'm a bit of an addict and I've been dying to find someone/many someones to RP Folklore with. As for a contest, hell, I'd participate! I'm sure others would too.  |

Gah, I wish I could participate more. *still hasn't played the game* One more month...
I would love to see a fanworks contest, although considering how many people have replied to this post and in general, I'm not sure how that'd go.
We need to pimp this game out or something. XD

Yeah, every good forum has a RP section. Even though you don't like RPing much, Tat, I'll gladly help fill up that section. Please add it on.
I guess just have a look-see at several miscellaneous forums and see what other sections are popular...? Along with the RP room, a game room would be nice, where you could play forum games with other members.
ANOTHER THING... "General Discussion" and "Off-Topic" are the same thing.

Now that I actually have and am playing the game, I would totally be interested if you wanted to try a contest. :D
Also, I don't know what you have for options as far as getting a hold of the members goes, but if there's a way to send out a bulk email to all 26 members, reminding them that the board is here and people are becoming active, it might prompt people to check here more regularly. I get the feeling that people might not check frequently if they think nothing's going on.

I know this thread is old, but I'd be willing to help out with an RP section. I have experiance in both online chat and forum RPGs... and I don't see how it would be too hard coming up with some basic rules for a Folklore RPG game...

Contests always catch peoples eye. I would definitely take part in a good art contest :3 Fanfic as well.

oh, yes.
I will try to get AMP UP the populatirty meter on youtube. got a couple people interested in it...
contests are probably the best way to go.
with prizes.
because no one wants to win something without prizes.

I would also be greatly interested in RPs. I have a decent amount of experience with forum RPs, but maybe don't have enough time to think up a fitting plot.

You might also catch some attention with a gallery.
A place where you show the original artwork of the game.
Stuff like Screenshots, Wallpapers, Original Art, Concept Art etc.
Another thing that would be necersarry is to delete all those spam-posts and threads....god...all this wow gold sh** is annoying..

Too bad really.
Unfortunately I can't contact the admin so it seems as if this community will slowly die.
Maybe I have good news though. I want to make a Folklore Fansite with 3 sectors. 1. Folklore basics (the game) 2. Folklore comic (the comic I'm drawing now) and 3. a fancommunity platform.
I'd really like to link back to this forum from the fancommunity side but I can't as long as there are so many problems with those stupid wow gold things and such. If this changes I will definitely link to this forum here. If not I guess I will have to open an own forum which would be very sad if there is already an existing forum.
Well we'll see. I still need time to open this website. If something changes here I'll see what I can do. If not, ...well.....

Oh, I'm certainly glad there is life here. I suppose it just makes me sad that's it not as active as it was. Folklore is such an incredible game, and it hardly gets the respect and recognition it deserves.
Thanks to the three of you for being here, though. =) It's nice to have people to talk to about one of my favourite games.
